West India Docks: The steamer 'Chenab' lying in the West India Dock in September, 1928.

Linney recorded that the Chenab was built for James Nouse Ltd, for the "Coolie-carrying trade" i.e. for carrying Chinese labourers. In fact this "trade" was dying out by 1928.
