Surrey Docks: The 'Lalla Rookh' lies alongside the quay in the Surrey Docks, with the 'Alastor' on the opposite side of the dock and the 'Virgo' astern, probably in June, 1928.
This evocative photograph is also rather said as the "Lalla Rookh" was sold to the breakers yard shortly after; the "Alastor" became a floating restaurant in Ramsgate harbour in 1939; and the "Virgo" ran aground on Skvatthällen outside Kobbaklintar sailing into Mariehamn and was wrecked in December.
