Breeches of gunmetal grey ribbed silk with vertical stripe. Cut in eight pieces, two for each leg, four for waistband. Split fall front fastening with two buttons in each corner. Waistband fastening with three buttons at centre front. Strap for adjusting at centre back waist. Short bodied. Knee length where it fastens with five buttons down each bottom side seam and a strap and button (now missing). Deep side pockets, one fob pocket. Fall front only line. Embroidered knee bands and buttons at knee.
