Trousers
This group of men's clothes and accessories was given by Mr Barry Reed of Austin Reed Ltd., Fenchurch Street. The clothes were used in a window display created at the Fenchurch Street branch to celebrate the shop's 80th anniversary.
Trousers made of worsted wool of dark blue with white pinstripes with a self belt. The trousers are straight legged with a front and back crease. They have a narrow waistband with belt carriers and a dark at each side of the back waistband. The front fastens with a metal hook and bar and concealed tab and button; fly faastening with a nylon 'Lightning' zip. They have side pockets, waist lining and pockets of white cotton. There is a separate belt of the same fabric with a metal and leather bar.
