Trousers, suit trousers

A pair of man's green and cream herringbone tweed wool trousers, part of a suit made for the interior decorator David Mlinaric, purchased 19 January 1977. He records that this suit was usually worn with a pale blue shirt, often with no tie, or a pale blue/grey polo neck jersey. He also had a green polo neck jersey and some green suede Chelsea Cobbler boots.

The trousers have straight legs with piped side seams and a front and back crease with four darts at the back below the deep waistband. The trousers have a fly front with a metal lightening zip and they fasten at the waistband with a hook and bar front and a button to secure the shaped underpiece. They have side seam pockets of cotton and are partly lined with a light blue synthetic material. Worn with matching jacket.
