No manufacturing/designer label on the bodice. There is a manufacturer name printed on the sweat guard: 'Excelsior / Made in USA'.
Worn by mother of donor, Leah Ginsburg, for her engagement 1893-4. Married in 1894 in Bayswater Synagogue. Leah Ginsburg helped her father with the office side of his glazier's business in Portobello Road.
