Bodice, jumps
Construction note: Fabric was embroidered first then cut and sewn up; made up of two front and two back pieces; seams appear to be backstitched; boning channels are sewn with back stitch into separate pieces that are applied to the interior of the garment; ribbon binding is stitched with tiny, spaced whip stitches; embroidery is worked in small chain stitch (or tambour work?) and tiny back stitches. No signs of alteration whatsoever. Materials: cotton(?); linen; silk thread; silk ribbon; linen thread
