Dress
This cotton dress printed with the heads of The Beatles and a guitar also features the pop group's signatures. It was sold by C&A and cost 39s 11d. Blue and pink versions of this printed fabric were also produced.
The donor's sister, Pauline Richey, wore the dress when she worked as a programme seller at the word premiere of the Beatles film, 'A Hard Day's Night', at The London Pavilion in Piccadilly Circus on 6 July 1964 . The premiere was attended by The Beatles and their wives and girlfriends. Other guests included Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon.
