Tobacco pipe, clay pipe
Large pipe in the form of a hand supporting a plain bowl; stem completelComplete bowl. lost. Moulded decoration: bowl held in fully modelled left hand (part of second and all of fifth fingers missing) emerging from coat sleeve, the cuff apparently turned back to reveal ornamental edging. Incuse registration mark on either side of coat sleeve, made by identical stamp impressed in the mould: RD.NO.118240
