Simon Rattle, Conductor
Conductor Simon Rattle at a performance of the Inner London Education Authority's London School's Symphony Orchestra. Simon Rattle graduated from the Royal School of Music in 1974 after which he worked for Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. He became well known during he 1980s and 90s for his work with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. The London School's Symphony Orchestra was created to provide children with the opportunity to perform in a large ensamble. Every year they give three concerts at the Barbican Centre every year.
