Partially hearing unit at Sedgehill Comprehensive, Catford
A teacher and a group of students in the Partially Hearing Unit at Sedgehill Comprehensive in Catford. Now known as the Hearing Impared Unit, it was established in 1951 and supported deaf and partially hearing children so that they could attend a mainstream school. In the 1970s there were units in four schools in London; Haverstock, Sedgehill, St Paul's and Oak Lodge Schools.
