City of Benares
Magazine Supplement issued to celebrate the launch of the Ellerman's line ship 'City of Benares', September 1936. Built for Ellerman's City & Hall line, the ship was desined to carry passengers in luxurious comfort to India via the Suez Canal - at a minimum return fare of £70. The magazine featured a number of line drawings designed to illustrate the modern and elegant interior of the ship.
