S.H. Harris & Son, Jewellery shop
S. H. Harris & Son Jewelry shop at No 5 Hatton Garden. The building is still a jewellery shop however it is now owned by another company. Hatton Garden is an area of London between Leather Lane, Saffron Hill and Hatton Wall. Up until the 19th century houses were privately owned and no shops were permitted but by the 1860s there were some jewellers working in gold and silver. Since this time Hatton Garden has become the centre of the Diamond Trade in London.
