Crufts Dog show
Entrant to the Crufts dog show in 1956. In 1891 Charles Cruft staged the first dog show at the Agricultural Hall in Islington. By 1956 when this photograph was taken there were over 10,000 entrants. The winner of the ‘Best in Show’ that year was a Greyhound officially named Treetops Golden Falcon but known as Goose to his owners.
