Woman's linen night cap. Close fitting cap gathered into round crown piece, then gathered by drawstring to form two inch frill round face. This is surmounted by two more frills of linen. One frill extends round back which is of a shallower separate piece fastened with tapes. Inscribed at the front: ‘6 / Birkbeck / 3’. Condition: darned in places.
