Market Trader at Petticoat Lane Market, 1952
Petticoat Lane market is held in and around Middlesex Street in East London. A second hand goods market has been held here since the 1700s. Middlesex Street was originally known as Petticoat Lane which was probably due to the large number of clothes traders based here.
