Bodice, pullover
This unlabelled jumper was put on display undernath a pinafore dress in the exhibition 'Mary Quant's London' which ran from 29 November 1973 to 30 June 1974 at the London Museum at Kensington Palace.
In the original 1973 catalogue, the dress is described as follows: 'Rex Harrison', 1960: Rust V-neck button up shirt dress with cut-away arm-holes and two pockets just above the hem.'
Rex Harrison (1908-1990) was an English actor on stage and screen, probably now most well known for his role as Professor Henry Higgins in the 1964 'My Fair Lady' film.
