Two iron buckles stitched on side top. Lining on front edge over reinforcement and back edge ditto over the metal. Insole cotton wool wadding under asphalt. Sashoon stitched in top, probably later. Sashoon probably dark brown leather, linen lined, quilted with wadding, wave pattern. Stitched at each side edge and c. 2 inches from top so that the top of the sashoon extends above the top of the gambado. Knee high.
