Clays Lane Co-operative Housing Estate
Colour pigment photographic print showing a view of the Clays Lane Co-operative Housing Estate, 2007. The image shows assorted items left outside terraced bungalows, including a statue, a motorbike an exercise bike and a discarded bus stop. Established from 1977, the estate was controversially demolished in 2007 and the residents relocated to make way for the Olympic Park. This photograph was taken as part of a project to document the site for the London 2012 Olympic Games prior to its closure for redevelopment in July 2007.
