Travellers' site, Clays Lane, Temple Mills
Colour pigment photographic print showing a travellers' site in Clays Lane, Temple Mills, near Stratford, 2005. This was one of two travellers' sites in the area to be compulsorily purchased by the London Development Agency to make way for the London 2012 Olympics. The site had been home to English Romany gipsies since 1971. This photograph was taken as part of a project to record the site of the London 2012 Olympic Games prior to its closure for redevelopment in July 2007.
