Trousers, trousers (ensemble)
These check trousers were part of a suit displayed in the exhibition 'Mary Quant's London' held at the London Museum, Kensington Palace, 29 November 1973. - 30 June 1974. The entire outfit was given the name The 'Arundel' group presumably in relation to the market town of that name in Sussex. In the catalogue the ensemble was described as consisting of 'green and cream co-ordinating separates, with cream morocain blouse and matching hats [sic]: striped hacking style jacket worn with A-line skirt and round-neck sleeveless vest; check trousers worn with V-neck belted jerkin'.
