Bodice, wedding bodice
Dora Summerfield wore this white satin wedding dress when she married Henry Goldman at St. John's Wood Synagogue on 7 July 1903. The bride's cousin, a trained dressmaker, made the dress. The wedding was a double one with Dora's sister also getting married on the same day. However, this was the only one of the bridal dresses to be kept.
