Ye Waterhouse
The Waterhouse at New River Head, surrounded by a curved wall below which is a wide stretch of water (reservoir or New River?) with an angler on its bank. The London skyline (including Old St Paul's) forms the background. Sould by Iohn Ouerton WHollar fecit 1665, along the bottom. These were bought by A.D. Power at Sotheby's June 1932, from Philip Norman's collection, who write "Hollar Etching from the Rookery Sale, the series of New River Head - of interest. Same as 29.54/2. Power box 34, sheet 41.
