Dockers on strike
In 1951 seven dockers working on the Festival of Britain site were charged with conspiracy to spread a strike. Fellow dockers marched to a park in Bow, near the magistrates court where the hearing was taking place. Henry Grant took several photographs documenting the strike, including this one of the crowd of men listening to a speaker.
