Alternative London
This is the first edition of Nicholas Saunders' book,' Alternative London', published in 1970. It is an encyclopedic guide to living in London for anyone who believed in a 'counterculture', or alternative society. Its chapter headings included, 'Communes', 'Drugs', 'Food Cults'. Saunders researched, self-published and distributed a series of these books himself, he printed 50,000 copies of the first edition.
