Printed Ephemera — 1983-03
Leaflet
This leaflet advertises the Second International Book Fair of Radical, Black and Third World Books, held in Brixton. The fair was opened by Wole Soyinka, the Nigerian playwright and political activist. Other events took place locally to accompany the book fair. The Ritzy Cinema showed documentaries about the Third World and hosted a concert featuring young Black musicians. The Tate Library held an exhibition of art by Black sculptors and painters. Tickets were available from several outlets, including Bogle L'Ouverture, the pioneering Black literature publishing house.
