Printed Ephemera — 1978-1989
Do You Ever Dream of An Ideal Society?
This leaflet gives information on the London Buddhist Centre in Bethnal Green, east London. Established in 1978 by the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order, the Centre is now at the heart of a 'Buddhist Village' including shops, a café, an arts centre and a residential community. The leaflet describes how: 'the London Buddhist Centre is...the heart of a growing network of public activities, communities, and co-operative work projects, which together add up to a whole new society’.
