Bag, sports bag
This yellow gym or sports bag belonged to Paul Sathianesan, a Tamil who came to London from Sri Lanka in 1985 as a refugee. Everything he brought with him was in this small bag. He explains, 'Some people when they go to a gym, they take a bigger bag than I brought here. Yes, two sets of clothes, soap, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. I can't remember what else was in there. I didn't have any time to go shopping'.
