Box inscribed 'My beloved Queen's slippers worn by Her Majesty. Given to me April 22nd 1901'. Label on lid, 'Ward & Son/Boot & Shoe Merchants/South Parade/Nottingham. Depot for 'K' Boots & Shoes'. On side of box, 'Goodyear Mfg Co. India Rubber Glove. Size 4. Rayor cap.W.(?)'. Repaired. Date dependent on dating of Ward and Goodyear. Early boxes are rare.
