The Great Eastern steam ship: a description of Mr. Scott Russell's great ship, now building at Millwall, for the Eastern Steam Navigation Company
The booklet was produced to advertise the building of the 'Great Eastern' at Millwall and includes descriptions of all elements of the ship, including comments on the builders, the hull and its construction, the steam-driven travelling crane used in construction, the engines, paddle wheels and on-board accomodation.
The booklet was once part of the Port of London Authority Library.
