Model steam roller
This clockwork toy steam roller belonged to Sandra Thorne, who was born in Brixton in 1945. Sandra died of the disease rhesus when she was 10 years old. After her death Sandra's parents kept all her toys and later gave them to the museum.
The steam roller was made by Lines Brothers Ltd of Merton, one of Britain’s largest toy manufacturers. This is one of their 'Minic Triang Toys' .
