Printed Ephemera — 1966
Design, window design
This is the design for a stained-glass window for St Philip's Church, Earls Court. Designed and manufactured by James Powell & Sons (Whitefriars Limited), it includes representations of St Cecelia, St Matthew, and St Luke and St Mark as animals.
Alfred Fisher designed the window. He worked at Whitefriars from 1950 to 1972. Alfred experimented in many different styles with leaded glass, slab glass and fused glass. He was the last stained-glass designer to work at the firm.
