Racial Harassment Southwark Fights Back
The London Borough of Southwark Housing Department issued this leaflet outlining the council's commitment to fighting racial harassment. Throughout the 1980s and 90s, incidents of racial harassment plagued many of London's council estates, forcing boroughs to take action.
The leaflet warns that anyone found to be 'racially harassing council tenants will face prosecution and eviction'. Contact details for advice centres and Housing District Offices are listed for tenants who need further information.
