Caption for the plate 2002.139/872: “Printed for fran. Power & Co. No 65 St Pauls Church Yard. Ladies in the most fashionable head dress.” ”. Eight women’s head are represented on the plate. They are very different hair style. Some are top hats, others are smaller garnished with ribbons and feathers. Two women wear turbans on their curly hair.
