Post Office Telegraphs
This telegram was sent by the actor Henry Irving to a J. N. Davison of 36 Tavistock Place. It reads, 'I shall be delighted to see your friend Maurel if he will come round after the third act cannot you come to my love.' At the time Irving was living at 15A Grafton Street and managing the Lyceum Theatre where Bram Stoker, author of Dracula, was his front-of-house manager.
