Printed Ephemera — 2003
Don't Attact Iraq
Flyer produced by the 'Stop the War Coalition' campaign group announcing a demonstration to be held in London on 15 February 2003. This was a protest against the British government's decision to join the United States in the war against Iraq intended to oust the dictator Saddam Hussein. It was the largest protest ever to take place in London, when about two million people from around Britain converged on the capital. The flyer was collected on 19 March 2003 during another demonstration in London as students worldwide walked out of schools to protest against the war.
