A Paris chez J. Mariette rue St. Jacques
Print showing a well-dressed man, with the imprint, 'A Paris chez J. Mariette rue St. Jacques'. The man is wearing a coat with ornate shoulder knot and a lace Steinkirk cravat. On his head is a periwig covered by a tricorne hat. He is holding what seems to be a snuffbox.
This print is part of the series ’31 Modes Françaises’. Bernard Picart (1673 - 1733) made the designs and engravings, which were published by Jean Mariette (1660 – 1742).
