Engraving by Paul Sandby entitled 'The Author run Mad', 1753. A satire on Hogarth, shown as a madman in Bedlam, chained by the foot, drawing on the wall. His many drawings are referenced in a key; much is made of the so-called "line of beauty". BM Satire catalogue no. 3244.
