Hart and tree
Pewter livery badge of a hart lodged (lying down) beneath a tree, dated to the late 14th century. This was the symbol of Richard II and others, such as William Lord Ferrers and Richard II's half-brother Thomas Holand, Earl of Kent (Holand's seal of 1398 has the same device).
