Pot, potted meat pot
Ceramic pot used as packaging for potted meat made and sold by J. Sainsbury's. The pot is printed 'J Sainsbury's superior home made potted meats' and includes the grocery store's logo. Potted meat paste could be made from turkey, ham, chicken or tongue. Spread on bread, meat pastes were popular as a sandwich for Sunday tea.
