Sign, Air Raid Precautions shelter sign
Wooden notice 'National A.R.P. for Animals Horse Shelter. No responsibility accepted.' This sign was used to indicate the location of an air raid shelter for horses. It was collected by London Museum staff from a shelter close to the Old Bailey which offered protection to horses that delivered coal and goods throughout World War II.
