Locket
Book shaped locket made of gilt copper alloy. It has four sections, hinged to close like a book. These consist of glass covered compartments containing photographs of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, together with locks of their hair.
According to the donor, Queen Victoria gave the locket to a member of her staff.
