Olympic Association Rules and Bye-Laws
Booklet containing the rules and bye-laws of the Olympic Association issued by Hitchcock Williams and Company, 1927. Hitchcock Williams were a long-established firm of linen drapers in St Paul's Churchyard. The Association was founded in 1897 for the benefit of employees of the company. It managed a library and organised sporting and social activities for its members. Sporting events were held at grounds at Chapel Farm in Eltham, swimming at the public baths in Great Smith Street, Westminster and also shooting at a range at Blackfriars.
