Clay tobacco pipe manufactured by Samuel McLardy in the 'Irish style,' painted & glazed brown with spur and short stem. The rear of the bowl is stamped with an incuse maker's mark 'McLardy's Dublin'. The rim of the bowl is milled. The pipe was found in the docklands area of East End and was probably used by a Londoner of Irish descent.
