Programme
Programme for the thanksgiving service for the life of Bernie Grant, MP, held in Alexandra Palace on 18 April 2000. The cover has a photograph of Grant in the traditional African dress that he wore to the State Opening of Parliament in 1987. The programme includes an order of service and a brief biography. Born in Guyana, Grant came to England in 1963. He became leader of Haringey Council, and was elected as Labour MP for Tottenham in 1987, a position he held for 13 years.
