Printed Ephemera — 1951
Invitation to a roof and a view
This leaflet invites visitors on to the roof of Shell-Mex House on the Embankment during the Festival of Britain, 1951. From here, visitors had a birds-eye view of the South Bank Exhibition. The building, with its distinctive clock face, was the London headquarters for Shell-Mex and BP Ltd, for whom it was originally built.
