Cooking pan, kahari pan
This is a brass kahari pan used in the New Tayyabs restaurant in Fieldgate Street in Spitalfields. Mohammed Tayyab opened the restaurant in 1974 and it is now one of London’s longest established Asian restaurants. New Tayyabs provides high quality traditional Pakistani Punjabi cuisine that is 100% halal. The cost of eating there is low, as it is in many of the Asian restaurants in the Brick Lane area.
