Card, valentine card

Comic valentine's card printed as a woodcut on cheap paper with a caricature of a 'stone-cutter.' The print is crudely coloured and below is printed a verse 'You rusty, fusty, dusty dolt, All day you pound upon a stone; Till one would think your chuckle-head, A cobble-stone itself had grown! And then in leather apron clad, With patches on your bony knees; You fill the air with choking dust, Enough tomake a saw-mill sneeze.' One of a collection of sample comic valentine's bound in a single volume, stored within a wooden case. On the spine of the case is a label 'Comic'.
