Card, valentine card
Handfinished valentine's card in the form of a gilded and white lace paper envelope, the two front flaps representing doors which open to reveal a sheet of folded paper applied within printed with a verse entitled 'A paragraph from Lobe's Record'. The verse is dated 'February 14th 186'. Below are applied two garlands of embossed paper flowers and leaves.
