Card, valentine card
Comic valentine's card printed with a handcoloured image of a man writing at a desk with the verse 'Poor empty headed silly wight Although in one sense you do write (right) Yet strange to say the whole day long, You're such an ass that you do wrong'. The image is surrounded by a solid embossed border decoration. One of a collection of cards stored within a scrapbook compiled by Jonathan King numbered 'Volume 1166'.
